Splashes of acrylic or oil paints on a cotton canvas still in the digital age of 21st century? I know it may come to you as a surprise but I still love to paint in “traditional” ways. Moreover, quite contrary to the philosophy of the contemporary art movements such as speculative realism, deconstructivist designs, post-minimalism, installations or projection art, my painting style vividly carries my incandescent connections to the modernist art of the last century — starting from Kandinsky’s abstractions, Joan Miró’s surrealism to Jackson Pollock or Franz Kline’s abstract expressionism.
